I can't sell my house! I have accrued so much crap and stuff, it would take me a year of work to get it ready much less get rid of the junk and move.

 

I'm on day 5 of headaches =] they've eased up at random times, but right now it's horrendous and I'm at work under these bright ass lights. Lack of water and quality sleep I think. But my throat is starting to hurt.. If I get actually sick I'm going to be so mad

Something has changed! I don’t have allergies of any kind but lately I’ve noticed something going on with my arms. If I do any work in my garden or even brushing up against the fence or the flowers l‘ll get welts on my arms and only my arms. Initially I’ll feel the itching and then the welts appear, it’s odd. It will last for an hour or so and then they go away.

 

I posted a while ago that we lost our dog in January. Well, as of yesterday, we have a new addition to the family. 2 year old black lab. Cute as a button. Super friendly. Welcome "Ace" to the fam. Gotta get re-used to keeping the place picked up like a toddler's around but totally worth it.

Also, I FINALLY gave in to the doc's suggestions that I try the glucose monitor. I had been nervous about sticking ANYTHING in my arm, because I do not have much body fat and hitting muscle HURTS..............but it wasn't that bad. I say that, but I had to tell the cute nurse to stick it on for me the first time. I was too scared. lol. It seems to be working well so far, and I don't have to prick my fingers multiple times daily.

 

Had a complete system shutdown in mid-June just after my birthday. Spent two visits in the hospital and the medical community put a brand spanking new platinum stent in my heart. Now all I have to worry about is these damn catalytic converter thieves finding out and cutting me open to get the damn thing out. Two docs say I'm fine and to resume activities to tolerance... I don't think they realize I used to pick up thousand pound motorcycles when they fell over. Cardiac rehab is a bitch, but the alternative is giving up twenty years of retirement for... well, use your imagination.

 

I need about a half a dozen shots before my next trip. For the medical professionals: Can you get 5-6 shots in one visit?
