Noob question here. How can I download from torrent? I click on the link and I only see text. I've never downloaded from a torrent here before.

That's because you're meant to right click the link and save it to your computer. From there you'll need a bit torrent client. I'm partial to rtorrent since I prefer the terminal, but for a gui client
You must be registered to see the links
might be more your speed. That link is to the wiki which should explains things much more thoroughly than I ever could.
